Imprinted Concrete

Imprinted concrete has seen a big upsurge in popularity in recent years as more and more people have it laid for driveway and patio areas. It is more expensive to install than block paving and can be easier to maintain but it can also develop problems if left alone for too long.

Although the surface is very hard wearing it will degrade and deteriorate over time like any other surface that is subject to continuous use. Surface whiteness, 'flaking', patchy areas are just a few of the problems that can make the imprinted concrete look unsightly once they start to appear.

Driveway Cleaning Oxforshire specialise in the repair, re-colouring and re-sealing of imprinted concrete driveways and patios. If the concrete looks quite patchy and has lost colour, we can re-seal and 're-tint' the surface to bring it back to the condition when it was first installed.

Because of drying times, the restoration of imprinted concrete is carried out over a two days:-

Day 1. The concrete is jet washed to remove any dirt or surface growth.

Day 2. The concrete is sealed with a quality concrete sealer. Recolouring is also done at this stage if required.
